The Band

Brad Ford (lead vocals/guitar/harmonica) as John Fogerty, hails from Los Angeles where he has had an extensive professional music career. Armed with his chameleon voice, he has performed in many tribute shows internationally, starring as Roy Orbison, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, and the ‘80s icon Huey Lewis. Brad was a founding member of the successful So. Cal Sixties Tribute: The Trip and has shared the stage with classic rock legends John Kay, Arthur Lee, The Standells, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Deborah Harry, and the King of "garage rock" Sky Saxon. Brad is a die-hard baseball fan and animal lover too!

Mike (guitar) has been playing guitar for over 40 years and has traveled extensively playing in all types of musical groups and organizations. Musical director for SoCal's Legendary Classic Rock Club Band-The International Superstars of Rock (ISOR for short), and Fandango - Americas premier ZZ Top tribute act performing the role of Billy Gibbons. Mike, (The Butcher as he is affectionately called) has been performing alongside Brad Ford as lead guitarist for Fortunate Son since 1998. Mike is not only known as the "King of Tone" within the band, he is also one of the top technicians and designers of guitar and bass amplifiers in the US.

Ron (bass/vocals) has been laying down the bass for Fortunate Son since 1998. Born and raised in Pasadena CA, Ron is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist (Bass, Guitar, Keyboards, Alto/Tenor Sax, Trumpet/Valve Trombone/Baritone) and grew up with friends Eddie & Alex Van Halen. "The Deacon" as he is known in band (yes, he is Ordained), started his first rock band in the 4th grade ("20th Century Fox"- after the Doors song) Ron secretly started playing in local bars at the tender age of 18 and was soon arranging charts and playing professionally throughout Southern California and began touring extensively with the area’s top club bands.

Daniel Murdy (drums/percussion) has over five decades behind the kit and forty-five years spent professionally and refined his skills under the mentorship of drumming luminaries such as Rod Morgenstein and John Molo. Encouraged by his uncle to embrace drumming at a young age, Dan regularly performs and records not only with his siblings Dave and John but also serves as a seasoned session drummer in Los Angeles. He has shared the stage with Rock "Hall of Famers" Elliot Easton of The Cars and Jeff "Skunk" Baxter (Doobie Bros./Steely Dan). Dan is a devoted life-long supporter of the LA Lakers and Rams, embodying the Rock & Soul of Fortunate Son.
