It’s the first month of 2026, and we are excited to see what this new year brings. From meeting your childhood hero, multiple new dining and music experiences, to Milwaukee’s 180^th birthday party, 2026 will have many new experiences for Milwaukee residents. Potawatomi Casino Hotel’s 35th anniversary

From January until March, we are throwing it back and turning it up with our Winning Hits Casino promotion and Turn Up the Taste dining and drink specials to celebrate 35 years! Each month, earn entries into our monthly and quarterly drawing by using your Potawatomi Rewards card for your chance to win thousands in cash and prizes. The grand finale is on March 27th where another $300K is up for grabs.

Milwaukee’s 180th Anniversary

The city of Milwaukee turns 180 years old on January 31, 2026. To celebrate the 180-year milestone of the city of Milwaukee, which was incorporated in 1846, the city has created a City Flag Task Force to select a new flag design. For those looking to celebrate Milwaukee's birthday, the Milwaukee Press Club is hosting a party on January 29 with community leaders to celebrate Milwaukee, its history, and where we want to go from here. WWE Royal Rumble Watch Party with Kevin Nash

This now sold-out event will be the ultimate experience for Milwaukee WWE fans. They will join wrestling legend Kevin Nash for an unforgettable Royal Rumble viewing experience. Feel every slam, surprise entry, and showdown as your favorite superstars battle it out in the match of the year. Guests who join us on January 31 will receive unlimited buffet access, a photo and autograph with Kevin Nash, $20 in Reward or Match play, and a shot at winning their own WWE Championship Belt. Āya is set to arrive in the Third Ward early 2026 and bring Mediterranean-inspired Middle Eastern cuisine to the residents of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This restaurant will offer an elevated Mediterranean dining experience, focusing on the flavors and cherished traditions of the Middle East. Āya will feature charcoal-style dishes, fine, carefully sourced meats, and a range of mezze inspired by the region’s rich culinary heritage. Potawatomi Pub Crawl

Experience a bar crawl without the cold at Potawatomi Casino Hotel on February 28. With seven participating locations, you can eat and drink your way through the casino without stepping outside. You’ll start the crawl at the Annex to pick up your exclusive event t-shirt and passport. Earn at least 4 stamps on your passport and be entered to win the Grand Prize Drawing. Frank Lloyd Wright Burnham Block Home Restoration

Milwaukee will have something special to look forward to in 2026 as the restoration of a rare Frank Lloyd Wright Burnham Block home is moving ahead. The nearly $800,000 project will breathe new life into one of the city’s architectural gems, opening the door to fresh programming, tours, and renewed attention to the historic block. This will be the perfect addition to your Frank Lloyd Wright trail road trip.

South Shore Cruise Dock

Cruising into the new year, the South Shore Cruise Dock is under construction at Port Milwaukee. The long-anticipated deep-water dock broke ground in fall 2025 and is expected to be operational around June 2026, shortly after the start of cruise season here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The addition of the South Shore Cruise Dock will bring more than 60 cruise ships to Milwaukee. Once completed, this project will provide larger ships, such as the Seawaymax vessels, with a proper port of call and give visitors an incredible first impression of the Good Land.
