With over thirty years in the music business, Keshena The Artist’s staying power and vocal prowess have sustained her.

The trained musician—who got her start in the church like most legendary singers do—is a self-taught instrumentalist and soul singer at heart. And you better believe, she is as versatile as she is soulful.

Keshena The Artist has sung everything from folk to blues and rock n’ roll and has studied music theory and performance. She sharpened her jazz vocals under the guidance of Adekola Adedapo and graduated from MATC’s music occupations program. Raised in a family of gospel singers, music has been woven into her life from the start, inspiring her to follow in the footsteps of the elders whose voices shaped her childhood.

Today, she brings all that history, heart and genre-blending skills to the stage, offering audiences a performance that’s as authentic as it is unforgettable.
